My name is Flavio and I'm owner, designer, and craftsman here at XPTO Designs. 

Since I can remember I was hammering away at my dad’s woodshop.  He would give me a piece of wood, a hammer, and a handful of nails and I would be entertained for hours. I instantly fell in love with this craft. It fascinated me that by my father using only his hands and a couple of tools he would create one of a kind pieces of art and furniture. That’s when I knew this is what I wanted to do “when I grew up” and after finishing my degree in Component Design & Construction Technology I found the time to dedicate to this passion. 

My goal, however, isn’t just to make any custom furniture. I really want to reintroduce quality craftsmanship to the people around me; to you. 

I take time to closely work on details and give each piece a unique character. I create pieces you can enjoy for years to come.

Each piece is designed to fit the space and according to your requests. I start with a consultation to find out what you're looking for. Then, I will send you design sketches, and we'll work together to finalize a design you love. Then, I get to building!
